Mary B Earrings

These statement earrings are handcrafted in a choice of either 5mm square, gold plated brass or solid recycled silver. Lightweight enough to wear every day, sterling silver earring posts are soldered at discrete points on each shape, to not distract from the simple silhouette. Our trademark matte and polished contrasting finishes are used to add interest. 

Each earring measures 30mm in length x 6mm in width x 6mm in depth. These earrings are named after Clare's Great Grandmother Mary B. 

Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers.  

We use hard wearing 18ct gold plating when finishing our brass & silver earrings. The plating gives these earrings a luxurious finish.

Each pair of earrings made in recycled silver is hallmarked in the Dublin Assay office, located a short stroll from our workshop in historic Dublin Castle.

Each piece of jewellery is crafted by hand in our neighbouring workshop. We carefully source our raw materials from respected suppliers here in Dublin and use all recycled silver and gold. All waste material generated in the making process goes back to our supplier as scrap metal. Each batch of finished jewellery is hand delivered to our Drury Street shop.
