Matcha

Matcha is a finely ground powder of green tea specially processed from shade-grown tea leaves. 

Matcha Classic: An intense green colour and robust tea aroma with a hint of bitterness. Made from second and third harvest leaves. Can be used for beverages or in pastries and desserts.

Ceremonial Red & Gold: Japanese matcha crafted from fine first-harvest leaves. Delicate with a distinct umami flavour and creamy texture. Perfect for tea ceremonies or traditional preparation.

Each tin comes with 30g of finely ground matcha powder. Ideal as a gift with a handmade coffee scoop by woodturner Eoghan Leadbetter, or with our colour block mugs for the ultimate matcha lover.

Farmhand are a small team of professionals based in the North of Dublin city centre sourcing, roasting and serving coffee since 2018.

Over the years, they have developed their micro roastery's mission to directly connecting communities on both sides of the Atlantic in order to promote better economic opportunities for the farmers they collaborate with and to find alternative ways of shipping and transport.

Farmhand roast only ethically sourced and transparently traded coffees, aiming for the highest traceability accessible for each origin. They also work closely with producers and exporters, to collaborate and offer the best deal to the farmer, the producer and the customer. All of their packaging is compostable and a coffee lover's dream, with detailed labels with origin, towns, altitude, tasting notes, the number of producers, farm size, when it was harvested and shipped, even down to the very day it was roasted and ground.
