Niamh Earrings

Our statement Niamh earrings are a complex design incorporating three separate elements which are soldered together. Attention to detail is required to ensure these elements do not solder to each other, that a sense of movement and tactility is retained. A combination of matte and polished finishes are used in these handcrafted earrings which are available in a choice of either sterling silver or 9kt gold.

Names Jewellery began as a side project for the founders of Irish Design Shop; Clare and Laura. It has grown to be an integral part of the business, branching into an independent studio space on neighboring Exchequer Street. Each piece of jewellery, crafted by hand, is named after a woman who inspires Clare and Laura, be they family members, disrupters, or fellow makers. Derry-born Eilis O'Connell is an abstract sculptor.  Dublin born Niamh Barry is an artist specialising in lighting sculptures. 

Each earring measures 35mm in length x 10mm at the widest point x 12mm in depth.
