Seal of Disapproval Riso Print

Based in Northern Ireland, Strangford (created by artist Jo Pearson), makes bold, original lino, woodcut, and riso prints. Jo's vibrant collection of prints feature animals and birds with such character, colour, and wit. They always make our customers giggle in the shop!  

'Seal of Disapproval' is a riso print* featuring an inquisitive seal peeking his head above the waves. Printed with fluoro pink and mint ink on thick 250gsm paper, each artwork is titled and signed by the artist. Standard A3 size - 30cm x 42cm.

* RISO prints are made with a Risograph printer. It looks like a photocopier, but works as a screen printer; using rich spot colours and stencils to create tactile and vibrant prints with little impact on our environment.
