Rose Earrings
Names-Lineage

Our Rose earrings, handcrafted in a choice of either 3mm thick, gold plated brass or solid sterling silver, make a statement while remaining lightweight. The polished profile and angles add interest, best seen when worn. Each piece of jewellery in our Lineage collection is named after a woman in each of our families:
Contradictory to her name, Rose was a tough woman who ran the family grocery shop in Rathmines. In addition, she kept hens and Geese and grew vegetables in her garden. During the Rising, she hid a group of IRA men in the pig sty in her garden. Rose was Laura’s great grandmother.
Our Rose earrings come beautifully packaged with a card outlining Rose's story. Each earring measures 20mm in length x 10mm in width x 3mm in depth. Full care instructions are available here.
Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
