Small Bold Jug

The classic Jerpoint jug silhouette has been updated with vivid and bold contrasting colours, and has been described as a nod to the 90s with a contemporary twist. Available in a choice of three vibrant colour combinations; Teal and Red, Blue and Orange or Pink and Green, this smaller version of the classic bold jugs are sure to make you smile and add a bright pop of colour to any table setting. 

Molten glass is manipulated to form the distinct handle, which is then fused to the handblown vessel. This generous handle makes it comfortable to hold and pour which is ideal when using as a water jug. Incredibly tactile, the ripples from the hand-blowing process are evident on each unique jug. 

Care: Handwash in lukewarm water. As this is a handblown glass item, it is not suitable for dishwasher use. 

Dimensions: Each jug is approximately 12 x 17 cm in diameter including spout and handle, and can hold roughly 500ml. Due to the handmade nature of these jugs, no two are the same so measurements can vary slightly.

For a  lifetime of enjoyment with your Jerpoint Glass, follow these simple care instructions.

1. Wash by hand in lukewarm water. We do not recommend Jerpoint for use in a dishwasher as the water is heated too rapidly which may cause thermal shock. Also dishwasher detergents can be very abrasive and damage your glass over time.
    
2. Avoid drip-drying or air-drying as this may leave a residue marks on the glass. For the best results polish your glass with a good-quality linen cloth.
    
3. Avoid rapid temperature change as it could cause thermal shock that may lead to a crack in your glass particularly jugs and tankards.
    
4. Always handle with care; a knock can cause a weakness in the glass that shows up as a crack long after an accident occurred.
