Square Frame
A blank frame made from reclaimed maple floorboards, taken from old gyms and dance halls. The front of the frame is sanded clean to reveal the beautiful maple wood, while the sides are left with the worn and marked surface of the polished floorboard, telling the story of its years of wear. The square format is ideal for a variety of images and looks great either hanging on a wall or sitting on a tabletop. These frames are ideal for framing Norman McCloskey's prints, and the size works perfectly for record covers.
Frame Dimensions: External Frame Size: 320mm × 320mm // Glass Size (Maximum image size): 300mm x 300mm

Rocker Lane Workshop is the result of the collaboration of young architect Seán Fogarty and master craftsman Michael Heffernan Sr., who has over 45 years experience of working with timber. Their workshop is based in the townsland of Rocker, Co. Tipperary.
But it's not just the craftsmanship that has these frames consistently in demand, it's the wood they're made from.
Each frame is constructed from reclaimed floorboards from dance halls across the country, hence the scuffed and worn appearance of these frames, which give them loads of character.
The aim of Rocker Lane Workshop is to produce contemporary furniture that is 100% sustainable. All frames are hand delivered to our shop by Mikey himself. All wood has been recycled and repurposed.
