Terracotta espresso cup

Small but perfectly formed, this little cup is the perfect size for a single or double espresso, although Helen herself recommends it for her favorite coffee-based treat - affogato! A scoop of ice-cream, a shot of espresso, and if you really want a treat add a dash of Cointreau.

Hand-thrown in terracotta clay in Belfast, Helen has chosen a beautiful, smooth, turquoise glaze that contrasts with the exposed dark clay perfectly. The overall shape is a delight to hold, with the lines and curves as evidence that each piece is made by hand.

Dimensions and Care:

Each cup measures approx. 5cm tall and 6.5cm in diameter. This piece is safe to use in the oven and dishwasher but not recommended for the microwave as the terracotta clay heats up very quickly.
