Wooden Bowl
Tom Manning is a woodturner and outdoor enthusiast based in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. Working predominantly from a supply of wind fallen trees, Tom hand turns his exquisite bowls in a range of Irish hardwoods including ash, beech, and oak. Each bowl, finished in a food-safe oil is truly unique, bears the name of the wood on the base along with the makers' mark.
The small size is ideal for nuts or pickles, the medium as a small serving or salad bowl, and the large as a table centerpiece would serve as an impressive salad bowl. Dimensions on these bowls are approximate due to their handmade nature.
Details:
Each bowl is finished in a food-safe oil. When cleaning, do not fully immerse in water, rather wipe clean with a cloth. If over time, the wood begins to look 'thirsty', simply re-oil your bowl using a cotton cloth and a linseed or similar food-safe oil.
Small: Each small bowl measures between 16 and 20cm in diameter. Medium: Each medium bowl is between 25 and 28cm. The large bowl measures approx 32cm in diameter.
