Ekotree specialises in creating premium knitwear using top-quality yarns such as superfine alpaca, lambswool merino, cashmere, mohair, linen, and cotton. Each piece is meticulously crafted and finished at their studio in Doolin, Co. Clare. With a focus on efficiency and environmental friendliness, each step of the process is carefully considered, tested, and timed. The result is impeccably soft, comfortable, and modern Irish knitwear.
Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
