Magda Bethani

Magda is a potter, artist, and maker based in Kilcoole Co. Wicklow. Originally hailing from Athens in Greece, her background in history and culture is evident in the shapes and colours she creates with clay, being inspired by the forms of the ancient vessels of the past. Magda throws both functional and decorative pieces on her wheel, finished with simple, earthy, textured glazes.
