Mini Bowl
This neat mini bowl is skilfully hand thrown to precise measurements by Rosemarie Durr in her Kilkenny studio. Made in durable, high fired stoneware, it is glazed in a buttermilk white, and left unglazed at the base, exposing the natural colour of the clay. Designed to stack, this perfectly formed bowl is also great for salt, pepper or your favourite nibbles.
If you prefer a larger bowl, Rosemarie's stacking or dipping bowl are excellent alternatives.
Dimensions: 3.8cm in height x 7.5cm wide. Each bowl is sold separately.
Having trained in world renowned Potter Skills course in Thomastown, Kilkenny in 1996, Rosemarie worked as a production potter in some of Ireland's leading pottery studios for several years.
In 2004 she opened her studio shop with her husband Andrew Ludick in Castlecomer Estate Yard and Discovery Park.
Craftsmanship and design are key to Rosemarie's work. Her Stacking Range is a new departure in her work, having previously delighted in the uniqueness of the hand thrown, her aim with this collection is to streamline her pieces. It’s a collection that relies on technical precision, there is no room for error in creating these interlocking pieces which really showcase her skill as a potter.
Each piece is thrown on the wheel using durable stoneware clay, and glazed with a glossy buttermilk glaze. Dishwasher safe.
