Palm Free Irish Soap
Based on the beautiful shores of scenic Lough Derg in East Clare, Palm Free Irish Soap started as a small family-run business in 1996. It has since grown without compromising on its principles of creating a hand-crafted soap range using the finest of ingredients from natural plant-based colours to 100% essential oils. Their commitment to minimise waste is evident in the simple brown paper bag packaging. In addition, to conserve water usage, fresh rainwater is collected in barrels and hand-filtered to be incorporated into the soaps.
Created without palm oil, each bar features a blend of vegetable and essential oils to create a mild, biodegradable bar. Experience the unmatched texture and benefits of these delightful soaps, and choose from five scent blends.

Our Story
Clare Grennan and Laura Caffrey established Irish Design Shop in 2008. A love of Irish craft and good design led these two jewellers to set up a retail space which offered customers both. Irish craft was witnessing a revival at this time, with a new breed of Irish designer/maker producing exciting, design-led products which embraced traditional and new techniques.
