Our perfectly simple Martha earrings, hand-crafted in a choice of either sterling silver or 9kt gold* are lightweight enough for everyday wear. To add interest, we polished the profile and left the sides matte on each earring. Each piece of jewellery in our Terrain collection is named after an Irish maker or sculptor:
Sligo based artist Martha Quinn has gained a national reputation for her public sculptures, meticulously carved in stone. Her practice is inspired by a wide variety of subjects including nature, craft, and architecture. The cross-over between the realms of organic and geometric is at play throughout her work.
Each earring measures 16mm in length x 9mm in width (at the widest point) x 1.5mm in thickness.
The sterling silver and 9kt gold we use in our jewellery collections comes from a certified refiner of recycled precious metal in Germany. Dealing with their local agent here in Dublin, we order metal to our specifications (be that bullion for casting, bar or sheet) produced from smelted, pre loved jewellery and objects. Any metal ‘waste’ created during the making process is returned to our supplier to be recycled back into the process
